A need for meaningful engagements that foster peace, equity and social justice for all!

Why do people and organizations miss opportunities for meaningful engagement that foster progressive driven activities and bring people of different backgrounds and experiences together for a common purpose of peace, equity and social justice for all? For instance, Dahlia Bazzaz, in her article in The Seattle Times, discussed how Public Schools cut partnerships with Native American Youth, a program that promoted more meaningful engagement and progress. A program that has obviously contributed to bridging the gaps created by the existing artificial walls that divide people and communities. The good News though is that Dr. Nwoye’s New book “Cultivating a Belief System for Peace, Equity and Social Justice for All” has provided people and communities, on both sides of our societal divide, a “Road Map” for more effective engagements, and a better partnership in our society. A “Road Map” that leads to the kind of partnership initiatives that would help Public Schools and businesses in their quest to include marginalized groups in our society such as the Native American people, among others.

Dr. Nwoye’s book should be a must read for everyone (those who truly believe in diversity and inclusion, as well as those who purport to be committed to diversity and inclusion when their actions tell different stories). It’s a book for trainers, politicians, teachers, and all those leadership positions in both public and private organizations who are associated with fostering peace, equity and social justice for all.
