Today’s independent Medicare agents face quite a challenge when it comes to managing a large book of clients and still trying to grow their business.?
Because there are so few of us and we are so busy handling so many existing customers and new business referrals time becomes a precious commodity.?
Our agent subscribers to the Search & Save Medicare system and CRM came to us with an idea to see about saving time in the Medicare selling and client management process.?
This idea would give an online tool that would allow clients & prospects to enter their own information through a series of questions using a PURL (personal URL) branded to their agency.
We built two separate PURL types for agents to use.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
An Rx only PURL and a MAPD PURL.?
This will allow agents to use these tools to fit the situation they may find themselves in when working with a new client (to gather initial information) or an existing client (to update information previously obtained.)
The PURL tool gathers the information from a questionnaire sent to the client and connected to your Search & Save Medicare system & CRM account.
If using the Rx only PURL it will build or update the Rx list and pharmacies, create or update the client’s profile, and run an updated quote for you.
If using the MAPD PURL it will build or update the Rx list, pharmacies, providers, and?create or update the client’s profile, and run an updated quote for you as well.?
The system would then notify you (the agent) by text, email and system alert that a new prospect was entered or existing client information was updated into your Search & Save system for follow up.
PURL tools have been offered by carriers in the past. Making the PURLS work with a Medicare quoting & enrollment system & CRM that was not connected to a specific carrier didn’t exist until now.
So how long does it normally take you to gather the information from a new prospect or update information for an existing client??30 min? ?An hour or more??
How much does it cost you, not only in sales time, but in actual dollars spent when having to hire a person to help you manage a large book of clients?
