Engineers need to figure out remote network configurations for development tools for MCUs and FPGAs, simulation, and debugging tools, main prototyping and testing equipment. They must have creativity and initiative to see client need and do whatever it takes to meet that need including developing a custom RTL block, building a custom reference design, and/or bringing in other chip solutions. They should have the ability to engage with the client deep enough to be able construct a system level block diagram of the product being developed. Board level experience including power supply decoupling, high speed signal terminations and routing skills are needed. Electronic goods sold in India will now be increasingly manufactured in India. The components ecosystem will be forced to evolve in India. Opportunities for exports will expand. Opportunities to export to friendly nations such as the US, UK, etc should increase. We expect export opportunities to expand in sectors such as medical electronics, automotive electronics, telecom, etc.
