The Need is Great, but the Workers are Few!
That’s how I saw the need to help support a non-Profit like Minnie’s Food Pantry in Plano, TX.? The Knights of Columbus (Council 7850) pitch in one day a month to unload trucks, sort through groceries, bag and box thousands of food items in an effort to feed the needy.? We start early in the morning in preparation for the line of cars that come in starting at 6:00 AM (the food pantry doesn’t open till 8:00). ?The car line is usually a mile long by the time it opens for business and is non-stop throughout the day.
If you feel the need to donate your time to a worthy cause, Minnie’s Food Pantry is the place to be!
Thank you Knights of Columbus (Council 7850) for the support and dedication you consistently show for organizations in need.
And a special “Thank You” to my wife Mamie for her support and dedication in helping the Knights of Columbus once again.
