The main reason people don’t write content for their own organization is that they have a hard time getting inspired on WHAT to write. The desire is there, yet when they sit down to write… crickets.?
I hear you! I am one of those people as well!
Today I was reading my daily devotional and the message was exactly what I needed the moment I needed it. (Funny how that works sometimes) The message: look at your hands.
Your hands created your business. Now, with full acknowledgment that your brain needs a shout-out here too for doing the thinking… your hands did the heavy lifting.
Looking at your hands, what stories do they tell?
·???????What have your hands done that you never thought was possible?
·???????What are your hands creating today?
·???????What do you strive for that they will create tomorrow?
Start with writing about the “WooHoo” and “Oh Crap” moments that you have encountered while building your business. Be authentic and tell the truth about what went wrong and how you overcame it and what went well. Believe me, there is someone out there that needs to hear your story to reignite their motivation to keep going!

It has been a while since I have written a new article. I was letting my saboteur mindset (I call her Tina) override my confidence with thoughts like:
·???????‘Who wants to hear from me?’
·???????‘I am not that interesting’
·???????‘Why should I put in the effort, nobody cares.’
Well, Tina… you can just shut the $)@& up!! I am in control of my thoughts, my self-confidence, and my purpose in life.
I am not sure who needed to hear this message today; let me just say this, “YOU ARE AWESOME!” When something inspires you to write and you don’t have time to sit down to do it, record it on your phone, leave yourself a voice message, just do something to capture the emotion and words you want others to hear. Then, when you have a moment to write you already have the topic and content.
Bottom line: your inspiration for creating a blog, a social post, or content for your website can come from the simplest places. What inspires you?
Not sure where to start? I am happy to help. There are benefits to a #rebelmindset!?
