Need of Confidence at Workplace !

Our daily interactions with people from diverse walks of life are where we gain knowledge and learn new things. Many of us avoid contributing to discussions because we are afraid of being judged or are hesitant, and when we are asked to share our point of view, we rush to get it out as quickly as possible. Each of us analyses the situation, but many of us blame it on our introvert/shy nature and then forget about it until it occurs again. However, the problem is not our introversion, but rather a lack of a very important skill called Confidence.?

In today's world, confidence is a quality that tells a lot about an individual. Your self-esteem is determined by how you feel about yourself, which goes beyond how you interact with other people. Following ways can help to boost your confidence: ?

HONOUR LITTLE VICTORIES?- Lack of confidence can often be traced back to self-doubt. However, seeking out little yet significant victories in one's daily job might aid in improving confidence. ?

RECOGNIZE AND CHALLENGE YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS? - You might start by asking yourself, "What behaviors of my own are holding me back from success?" This can help you move from poor self-confidence to self-esteem and then to self-worth. Realizing success begins with being aware of your limiting beliefs and having the confidence, self-control, and humility to work through the transformation.?

KNOWING YOUR SHORTCOMINGS IS A VIRTUE?- There are strengths and weaknesses in everyone, but we should all strive to strengthen our strengths and effectively address our weaknesses.?

SEEK IDEAL MENTORS?- The influence of mentors in your advancement is crucial. Being around people who set goals and have high levels of self-esteem provides you the chance to improve your personality as a whole.?

AVOID YOUR NEGATIVE SELF-TALK?- Everyone converses with themselves. Your inner voice is what makes conscious and unconscious observations about your existence. This internal discussion is crucial. It enables you to make sense of the things going on around you. If handled poorly, it could, however, have a negative effect on your self-confidence.?If you want to increase your self-confidence, you must control your inner conversation.?

CASE STUDY?

Syed Irfan Ajmal, a successful serial entrepreneur, author, and keynote speaker who is well-known worldwide, admitted in an interview that he used to be very externally motivated. He said, "Ever since adolescence, I have sought the blessing and cooperation of others (family, friends, etc.) before doing anything. I was told not to start my own business.?

My personal experience has taught me that you can't just assume that other people will understand what is best for you. Don't seek permission. Don't seek out compliments. Most likely, your heart is giving you the truth.?

A self-assured person looks for advice rather than approval. Everyone should make their own decisions; others can offer recommendations and advise, but the final choice should be yours. Having confidence gives you the ability to make the best decision.?
