The Necessity Of Nurturing Young Girls In Entrepreneurship

In a world where women are still fighting for equal rights young female entrepreneurs should be pushed towards reaching greater heights in the business world. The world has to be much more supportive towards young female entrepreneurs. According to the insights by Ministry Of Statistics And Program Implementation in July 2018, women comprise only 14% of the all out business in the country. This implies that just 8.05 million out of the complete 58.5 million business visionaries in the nation are females.?

The actual insights prove that the nation is still struggling in supporting its Women Entrepreneurs. This devastating state of Women Entrepreneurs is additionally supported by the Mastercard Index of Women Entrepreneurs (MIWE) 2018, where India positions at a low of 52 out of the 57 taking part nations. You will rarely find young girls say they want to open a business, many fathers are reluctant to hand over their business to their competent daughter. They will choose their sons even if he is less talented in this field. Patriarchy is rooted deeply in our society which affects young girls and their dreams from an early age.?

Why is nurturing entrepreneurship in young girls important?

Empowering a large portion of the country's potential labour force offers critical financial advantages for the nation. A country's economy is bound to develop and be steady assuming female business visionaries are available. Kickstarting a business is a motivation for different ladies. Therefore, women can make more positions, and the gender gap and discrimination around the globe decreases.?

For young ladies to become powerful pioneers sometime down the road, they need to acquire both the hard innovative abilities and the authority abilities when they are youthful. To urge them to seek after their fantasies and dreams, we should shower them with support and all the resources they require.??

Lately, there has been more noteworthy attention given to business venture programs for women on college grounds. While these endeavours are significant in attempting to bridge the gender gap in entrepreneurship, these initiatives may not reach the young women who enter school without a clear interest in business ventures. Additionally, these empowering initiatives won't ever reach young women who are unable to seek advanced education.

Rajesh Bhat, I have planned to instill entrepreneurial skills in my daughter not only by words but also through action. She's still a toddler, but you just reiterated the fact that it's never to early to start! (So we have role plays) You have articulated what was running in my mind. Thank you!

It's a wonderful thought, one of the best ways to nurture these skills is to create a scope even in high school. Today kids from very early in life experiment with entrepreneurship like my own kid did from class 7, it would be very good to have training programs that make their sales journey easier to grasp

Education policy needs a 360 degrees "makeover" to transform girls ... in US, the grade received in high school, stays till they retire.. its the same with India...12th grade score is ingrained on a students forehead for life...for me Education is character building, building confidence, learning to compete in diverse environment... I competed with early 40s Chinese Women when I was 25 yrs old... they slogged hard to get 4.0 GPA. I worked to earn my MS...but, now I see why 4.0 is valued...its to tell the WORLD you are BRILLIANT & LABORIOUS, ready to work hard late nights in laboratories to get a green card... Education has always been a business & will remain as a business tool... therefore we have influence the owners & govt to make it more softer & REALISTIC
