People don’t generally equate being a loan officer with creativity, but the fact is, being creative is a bigger part of the job than one might think. And creativity becomes particularly important when you’re trying to grow your business. Being more creative in your work can give you a powerful advantage over your competitors, and the ability to do more in less time. Here are a few reasons why creativity is important for LOs:

It Improves Your Problem Solving
LOs need to be skilled in problem solving. You have to think on your feet, adapt, and find the best solution to problems as they arise. And creativity will keep you curious, open minded, and allow you to examine challenges from all angles. It’s also an important quality to bring to goal setting (and completion), brainstorming sessions, and collaborating with referral partners and colleagues. Creativity will undoubtedly improve your ability to solve problems.

2 年So true! Cookie-Cutter, Standard, Typical......this industry is NOT ! If you're not being "creative" and thinking outside the box for your Clients, then you most likely are losing a lot of opportunities.
