Is it necessary and is it kind? Before you do anything ask these questions

Have you been kind to anyone recently? If yes, did you find any of the side effects of being kind to people? Kindness contains all the good ingredients like humbleness, honesty, pity, patience, tolerance, sympathy, love, affection, compassion, integrity, truthfulness, understanding, discrimination, helping attitude, adjustment with others, whereas being right may be alright, but it contains if's & but's, questioning one being right.
Of course when being right requires certification that he is really right, will be contaminated with doubt & suspicion & may lack kindness & a tendency to show superiority over others, haughtiness, assertion & wrong mindset. None of these negative traits will taint a kind person, since kindness does not care for verification by others to give a certificate & his actions will be straight forward evidence to prove his worth. Hypocrisy does not touch him.
However, quite often, if you do little help to others, the response from others will be "How kind of you". Nobody will say "how right of you". If you think deeply, you will realize that kindness contains the whole essence of one's good character & conduct. This is the best certificate one can get, since kindness is symbol of all good qualities of a person. Your conduct reveals your true character.
And even if you do right thing to others, it is only your kindness which stands surety & guarantee for your being right. Because being right without kindness is contaminated with evil ingredients which cannot be assessed easily without test.
When "Mother Teresa" was serving humanity with "Right" approach, it was only her Kindness" & "Compassion" that lifted her above all others, even though doing right was the main aim & purpose of her struggle. Kindness takes charge of intelligence, knowledge & wisdom at one stroke.
Kindness is not an easy commodity, which everybody can have. There should be a natural urge & gain momentum through experience. It requires a great deal of understanding of others, irrespective of their background. Unless one develops an attitude of oneness of all, in spite of wide differences & attitudes of people, it is extremely difficult to be kind to all.
When we are kind to someone, we are thinking and acting from the right hemisphere of our brain which governs compassion and wholistic thinking. Whereas when we are Right, we are thinking and acting from the left hemisphere of our brain which governs logic and rationality.
Therefore, to be kind floods one’s entire body with the neurotransmitter serotonin which brings feelings of unity, peace and security. These feelings prompt further desires for kindness both in our self and in any and all recipients. These feelings have no negative side-affect and are long-lasting and binding.
To be right however, floods one’s entire body with the neurotransmitter dopamine which brings a thrill and sense of accomplishment before spiking downward and bringing a sense of non-unity and unrest. When one exerts his own self-centered will to present his self-righteousness, the others involved feel separated and invalidated.
Therefore friends, regardless of how our actions affect others, kindness pays off long-term dividends to one’s self! It just makes sense! or be kind is to be right! To be kind is to love our self and choose to feel good. To be kind is acting from our right mind.
To Be Right is to be wrong. Therefore, if you really want to feel good, to win friends and positively influence people, to bring forth greater health of body and mind… Be Kind! Stay blessed! #kishoreshintre #possessedbywritingspirit #ks600articles
