Is it necessary for a good digital marketer to be shameless, irritating, and self-respectless?

I've been a digital marketer for the last 14 years. In my professional life, I have already served more than 500 clients. I have been working as the Chief Marketing Officer of a UK-based digital marketing agency. Currently managing more than 50 regular clients from the USA, UK, Australia, and Canada.

As most of the clients or employers prefer to sign NDAs (non-disclosure agreements), most of the time we cannot tell the client's name on our profile. However, I have made an effort to include all relevant information on each of my pages and profiles.

However, recently, I have encountered individuals claiming to be digital marketers, SEO experts, and similar professionals who are offering the same services that I provide to my clients. It's like, "A doctor is offering his treatment to another doctor."??

Most of the time, I ignore those kinds of messages from so-called digital marketers and SEO experts, but some people ask why I am not answering and keep sending the same message again and again.? Obviously, I would continue to ignore them, but when I received messages from some well-known firms, I thought I needed to write something about them.?

Where are we going??

Is it necessary for a good marketer to be shameless, irritating, and self-respectless?? What's wrong with their marketing strategy? Please give an honest answer and compare it with my thinking on the following question.?

  • 1) How do you feel if someone offers the same service that you offer for others?

My opinion:? It's essential to communicate what sets your offerings apart and how they address specific needs or pain points.

  • 2) How do you feel if someone pushes you purely for their own benefit??

My opinion: Pushy tactics may yield short-term results but often lead to resentment and distrust in the long run.

  • 3) Don't you feel ashamed of your job, where people ignore you constantly and you continue with your rubbish messaging or meaningless calls?

I think effective marketing involves cultivating meaningful interactions based on mutual respect and understanding.

4) If you possess knowledge of how to conduct marketing, why don't you attempt it yourself ? Why are you crying in my inbox??

Building a reputable brand requires authenticity, integrity, and a genuine desire to add value to the lives of others.

According to my experience,

I can confidently say that I never irritate any of my clients, nor do I push any of my products or services on them. I can challenge it on this platform (LinkedIn), as I have many regular clients on my connection list.? Instead, I maintain such a high level of quality that my clients consistently inquire about whether I offer any other services. I would like to suggest to all new digital marketers and SEO experts, please do not send the following types of messages to get your new clients:?

  • 1) I audited your site; it has some ranking issues. I can fix them (acts as if he can conquer the entire world) bla ...bla
  • 2) Guest post .. bla bla
  • 3) I am a digital marketing expert? I am... expert... expert... expert... expert... (jack of all trades).?

If I were the client, I would instantly block and report this kind of trash. If you are in a hurry to be successful and earn money, there are many shortcut professions. Go and enjoy them. Don't be a shameless, self-respectless person. You are not into marketing, and marketing is not your profession, as digital marketing is a deeply knowledge-based profession. You should learn deeply before making money.?

YouTube is a great platform for self-learning. You must make your mindset for patient, continuous learning. Make your portfolio and professionally do marketing. I hope clients will ask you for your services; you will never need to make a shameless approach. Maybe this process will take a bit longer, but you will feel proud of your profession as a digital marketing professional. I can guarantee?
