A Necessary Change of Focus

A Necessary Change of Focus

Dear Reader,

When we started this newsletter some months ago it was aimed at providing practical management tips.

And although well-intentioned, we soon realized that this was not where we should focus, nor what provided real value to our more than 7500 subscribers.

We realized...

There are more than enough very capable people and organizations providing management and leadership improvement services. And although the work they do is excellent, it only addresses one side of the proverbial coin.

And as far as professional capability and success were concerned, it seemed as if we were placing all our eggs in the leadership basket.

Working from the premise that all leaders have the ability, capacity and inclination to provide quality support to the people in their teams.

And we realized that, with the best intention in the world, this was simply not possible.

Despite the excellent training leaders may get from the right organizations and HR structures, our leaders need support when key people in their teams are struggling to achieve the results they, and their teams, are aiming for.

The Foundation of the Professional World

You see, we realized that specialized focus and support is needed right at the beating heart of a business, so to speak. And this is the people, the individuals that make up the teams and organizations of the world.

From our own experience and learnings we know the world is filled with people who have great intentions and who are working hard, but not seeing or experiencing the growth, results and value their efforts demand.

And this causes frustration and a host of other negative emotions that not only impacts their ability to deliver consistent results at work, but it also impacts their ability to pursue their career ambitions and, even worse, negatively impacts their personal lives.

In short, it results in creating exactly the opposite of an engaged, excited, high-performing and professionally fulfilled individual.

Announcing the Official Launch of Stuck2Unstuck

And this is our focus at Stuck2Unstuck.

Providing tailored training, coaching, mentoring, and support services to help individuals and teams identify the challenges holding them back from reaching their full potential and then helping them Master the skills needed to significantly enhance their professional capability, impact and results.

We work:

  1. Directly with individuals who are taking ownership and initiative to improve their professional capabilities and achieve their professional goals, and
  2. With organizations who wish to improve their ability to help underperforming individuals or teams enhance both their professional capabilities and professional fulfillment.

Our focus is not simply to provide training, but to enhance capability, which means both learning the necessary skills or techniques and then mastering how to use them, at any time and in any situation.

For more information

We invite you to get more detail on our website, which offers comprehensive insights into our services, methodologies, and the values driving Stuck2Unstuck.

Or, for those seeking additional information or answers to specific queries, please contact Johan Meyer via email at [email protected] or LinkedIn DM directly.

The road forward

Given the change of focus our Newsletter will still provide practical tips and techniques to improve efficiency and results in the workplace. But, instead of focusing on management and leadership elements, we'll provide advice and guidance relating to day-to-day professional abilities and skills.

We extend our genuine appreciation for the messages of support we have received from so many different people and, as we embark on this exciting journey, we look forward to forging strong, impactful relationships with our clients and to make a significant impact - not only on their professional capabilities and success, but also their personal fulfillment and achievements.

Finally...

We each have one life.

And if we are going to spend a large portion of that life working - for whatever reason - then it stands to reason that we do so in a manner that allows us to feel professional pride, accomplishment and satisfaction.

Because if we feel engaged with what we do, if we derive personal meaning from it and if we feel a sense of personal pride in our accomplishments, our work will enrich and positively contribute to our personal lives.

Best Wishes and Warmest Regards

Johan Meyer

Johan Meyer It sounds like "Stuck2Unstuck" is positioning itself as a service that addresses a specific gap in professional development—providing support for individuals dealing with personal or skill-related challenges within businesses. Overall, this introduction sets the stage for a service that focuses on the personal and skill development of individuals within businesses, acknowledging a specific need and positioning itself as a solution that offers effective, practical, and experienced support.
