Near the end of the Road
Welcome back everyone!
It has been a while since my last newsletter, thank you for following this amazing experience with me so far.
I took a hiatus after the international project, and so did the Program. But we are back and in the last stages of the final module. Please join me for this last challenge.
Module 4 Virtual Project
Trainings
Sustainability.
Our first training after the international project occurred at the end of October.
Big thanks to Massimiliano Rossetti for putting it together.
I did an essay on commuting sustainably, and hopefully it may open the conversation on that frontier.
SQL.
Our second training happened during November.
Karolina Dobrych?op did an amazing job at keeping the training engaging and fun!
Power Apps & Power Automate.
The third training of the module was done in December.
Lean Six Sigma.
Our final training will be held during our graduation week in Venlo, The Netherlands at the end of January.
Lean is a topic that I am passionate about. It is part of my core knowledge as a Quality Engineer and I am very excited to continue cultivating my understanding of the potential applications it has for Logistics.

WIPs and Accruals - Virtual Project
As I mentioned in our last newsletter, the final module is here and I have the pleasure of working with Brendan Currie (USA), Anggie Juliana Garcia (Colombia) and Alexis Hormazábal (Chile).
This module's dynamic is different as well, while it is an improvement project, our role is to act as consultants to a global department within DSV.
Our assigned project was petitioned by Group Controlling and it is related to finance. (No wonder I am part of the team, my international project was in finance too!)
The module has 2 main deliverables:
How are we doing with the project? What are our deadlines?
Well, we started working on this project during November, and we delivered the Consultancy Report on the 17th of January.
Our sponsors Inês Sollari Allegro and Rayko Boydev were very important for us to understand the concepts and be able to analyze the data.
To gather data we performed a Global Survey, and also had In Depth Reports with 8 countries.
All of this information was compiled and will be presented during our graduation week.
It will allow our sponsors to continue with the project with a more comprehensive view of the WIPs and Accruals process.
As of now I am at the Venlo hotel, after a challenging journey, and I cannot wait to see what this week will bring.
But that's a topic for our last Newsletter, where I will give you a bit more detail of our last project, our last week together, and my final reflections.
Thank you for reading my adventures so far, and thanks to the program coordinators making it possible in DSV. A big welcome back to Henny Bergsma , and a salute to the rest of the team, Femke Hamers , Lianne Decrauw-Brunken and Ralph Schouren . You have done an incredible job.
Until next time!
