NCC Hosts Project PISCES?Training and Onboarding for 45 New?Analysts
Last month, the National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) hosted the first on-site and in-person Project PISCES training and onboarding event at the NCC headquarters! Project PISCES is a no-cost network monitoring service for local governments in Colorado which the NCC works in partnership with Metropolitan State University (MSU) to provide.
CYBER NEWS: N. Korean Hackers 'Mixing' macOS Malware Tactics to Evade Detection

North Korean threat actors behind macOS malware strains, such as RustBucket and KANDYKORN, have been observed "mixing and matching" different elements of the two disparate attack chains, leveraging RustBucket droppers to deliver KANDYKORN. The finding comes from cybersecurity firm SentinelOne, which also tied a third masOS-specific malware called ObjCShellz to the RustBucket campaign.

12 个月Grateful that the National Cybersecurity Center broadened beyond Colorado to cybersecurity students in US. It is great to see in person training now at National Cybersecurity Center. But during the pandemic it was great to study and learn from Thomas Holt Russell, Alexia Thompson, and guest speakers such as Dr. Cheryl Cooper, PhD and Rodney GULLATTE JR, CCISO, CEH, CNDA. Kudos National Cybersecurity Center!
