The NCAA Makes an Unprecedented Decision
The NCAA made a landmark decision yesterday afternoon when they cancelled the 2020 NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. All other Winter and Spring Championships were also cancelled as the country tries to slow and halt the spread of the Coronavirus. There will be no 2020 NCAA Basketball Champions as the season didn't get the proper conclusion it deserved, but it was an exciting season nonetheless. San Diego State and Dayton were two great stories and fans worldwide would have loved to have seen one if not both teams make it to the Final Four in Atlanta. All of the diehard fans like me can't wait for next season to begin and to see if the NCAA grants eligibility waivers to any seniors or graduate transfers playing in their last season of eligibility. The anticipation for next season to begin will be at its highest point ever this Fall after this season's abrupt conclusion. I am already counting the days until the games tip off in early November. I am sure I am not the only one.

5 年I had hoped they’d postpone for a few weeks before cancelling, just to see if anything changed. But I guess all in all it’s the best decision.
