Several North Carolina companies are again among the finalists in the annual Good Food Awards recognizing artisan food producers for their responsible practices and superior taste.
Big Spoon Roasters (Durham) is a finalist for their Pistachio Crunch Almond Butter.?Big Spoon Roasters makes handcrafted nut butters and snack bars from scratch with world-class ingredients sourced directly from local and like-minded producers who share their dedication to authentic quality and sustainability.?They believe our food choices matter, and their mission is to build a healthier relationship with our planet through nutritious foods made without compromise. They will be an exhibitor at the upcoming Flavors of Carolina food show on February 28.
Curate/Katie Button Restaurants , Asheville, is a finalist in the charcuterie category with its Curate Sobrasada.?Got to Be NC member Sun Raised Foods , is also a finalist in the charcuterie category with its Finocchiona Lamb Salami.
Chatham House Mustards by Mrs. Ruth’s Farms ?is a Pantry finalist with its Blueberry Mustard.?Mrs. Ruth’s Farms is also a finalist in the Preserves category with its Blueberry Lemon Basil preserves. The Spicy Hermit of Durham was a finalist in the Pickles category for their Sweet Onion Kimchi.
