NC companies Good Food Award finalists

Several North Carolina companies are again among the finalists in the annual Good Food Awards recognizing artisan food producers for their responsible practices and superior taste.

Big Spoon Roasters (Durham) is a finalist for their Pistachio Crunch Almond Butter.?Big Spoon Roasters makes handcrafted nut butters and snack bars from scratch with world-class ingredients sourced directly from local and like-minded producers who share their dedication to authentic quality and sustainability.?They believe our food choices matter, and their mission is to build a healthier relationship with our planet through nutritious foods made without compromise. They will be an exhibitor at the upcoming Flavors of Carolina food show on February 28.

Curate/Katie Button Restaurants , Asheville, is a finalist in the charcuterie category with its Curate Sobrasada.?Got to Be NC member Sun Raised Foods , is also a finalist in the charcuterie category with its Finocchiona Lamb Salami.

Chatham House Mustards by Mrs. Ruth’s Farms ?is a Pantry finalist with its Blueberry Mustard.?Mrs. Ruth’s Farms is also a finalist in the Preserves category with its Blueberry Lemon Basil preserves. The Spicy Hermit of Durham was a finalist in the Pickles category for their Sweet Onion Kimchi.

Boxcarr Handmade Cheese is a finalist with its Cottonbloom and Doeling cheeses.

Videri Chocolate Factory (Raleigh) is a Chocolate finalist with its Guatemala Single Origin Dark Chocolate Bar.?Videri is also a finalist in the Confections category with its Blackberry Basil Caramel; along with Fera’wyn’s Artisan Chocolates and its Mint Frost; and French Broad Chocolates with its Rose Cardamom Pistachio Bonbon.?

Botanist & Barrel is a finalist with its "Not What We May Be Pet Nat Cider." Boro Beverage Co. , Pollinator Punch; Buchi Kombucha , Buchi Legacy Kombucha; and Buchi Kombucha , Buchi Seed Kombucha are North Carolina finalists in the Drinks category.?Old North Shrub is an Elixirs finalist for its State Grape Shrub along with Sweet’s Elderberry for its Sweet’s Syrup. Free Range Brewing of Charlotte and Fullsteam Brewery of Durham were finalists in the beer category.
