Easy access to boundaries with our Boundaries-API
Nazka Mapps is all about offering value to the end user: helping to understand, to compare and to interpret all sorts of geospatial data. Reliable datasets for administrative boundaries are essential but can be challenging to collect. That's why we created the Boundaries-API:?European administrative boundaries at your fingertips!?
We're nominated for the GeoSpatial Awards 2023!
Aquathermy is cool and hot at the same time. Using heat pumps and heat networks, surface water from rivers, lakes and canals is used to heat and cool buildings.
Nazka Mapps developed for EXTRAQT and the Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen a customised map interface to illustrate the potential for the province as clearly as possible. The result is impressive, as the Geospatial Awards jury saw!

Mapp of the month
A river network of 25,000 km and mighty rivers like the Amazon or the Magdalena have blessed the South American country Colombia with enormous hydropower potential. To map and visualize this potential, Nazka participated in a G-STIC: Global Sustainable Technology & Innovation Community project together with EXTRAQT , Turbulent Hydro , and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel .
By using the build stones of our Nazka Mapframe, we could easily make a bilingual map in English and Spanish illustrating the enormous hydro and aquathermal potential of the Colombian waters.
