Monthly Trek to Raireshwar – September 27

On 27th September, Navkshitij hosted an exhilarating trek to the historic Raireshwar fort. Our participants embraced the adventure, enjoying breathtaking views and soaking in the rich cultural heritage of the region. The trek was not just about conquering the summit but also about fostering teamwork, building confidence, and connecting with nature. We thank everyone who joined us on this journey of exploration and self-discovery!

National-Level CRE Programme – September 20-22

A three-day national-level Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) program was organized by Navkshitij from September 20th to 22nd. This program brought together experts and participants to engage in meaningful discussions on advancing the quality of life and rehabilitation for people with intellectual disabilities.

Celebrations and Special Events

We celebrated various festivals and occasions this month:

• Ganesh Chaturthi: With Ganesh Sthapana on September 7th and the vibrant Ganesh Visarjan on September 14th, our residents and staff participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm and devotion.
• Teacher’s Day – September 5: We honored the hard work and dedication of our special educators and caregivers on Teacher's Day.

Hand Washing Workshop – September 2

A special session on hygiene and hand washing was conducted by Ecolab India and the Hyatt Group, Pune. Our resident friends learned proper hand-washing techniques through a fun, engaging method involving UV light demonstrations and singing "Happy Birthday" as a timer. This session highlighted the importance of hygiene and was met with immense participation from all.

Achievements

• Our Marunji team won second prize, and the Talegaon team won first prize at the Lions Club Pune dance competition. Congratulations to both teams for their fantastic performances!
