Navion Senior Solutions Names Assisted Living Veteran Beverly Janco Tuttle CEO

Founder Stephen Morton becomes Chairman of the Board

Raleigh, N.C. – Raleigh-based Navion Senior Solutions has named Beverly Janco Tuttle as its new CEO. She takes over the role from founder Stephen Morton, who will become the organization’s Chairman of the Board. Janco Tuttle joined Navion in 2020 as its Senior Vice President of Operations and has been a leader in the assisted living field for more than 25 years.

Hired as part of Navion’s succession plan, Janco Tuttle worked closely with Morton to lead the company’s operations and execute its strategic goals. Under her guidance, Navion has more than doubled the number of assisted living communities it operates.

“Beverly and I are aligned in our values and strategic vision for Navion,” said Morton. “Over the last four years, as she has prepared for her transition to CEO, she has shaped Navion’s direction to achieve our goals and further cement our reputation as a leader in assisted living.”

?As Chairman of the Board, Morton will collaborate with Janco Tuttle and Navion’s Executive Committee to provide residents and families the highest level of care.

?Before founding Navion Senior Solutions with his son Arick Morton in 2015, Stephen was the co-founder and President of Chapel Hill-based Southern Assisted Living, the largest senior housing company in North Carolina in the 1990s and early 2000s. He also served as the CEO of Greensboro-based Bell Senior Living, which was sold to Five Star Senior Living in 2012.

?Janco Tuttle’s career serving seniors spans more than 25 years. She has worked in multisite management covering North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. Prior to joining Navion in 2020, she was the CEO for Aventine Senior Living Company located in St. Petersburg, Florida.
