Navigating your business amidst a crisis

Navigating your business amidst a crisis

What a week.

I had a few conversations over the week with my entrepreneur friends and my clients about what "business as usual" means in the wake of the kinds of tragedies we've been experiencing here in the US lately.?

Children are being murdered, and we're releasing podcast episodes, creating tiktok videos, and more.

So - should we stop?

First and foremost, you do you. If?you want time, take time. If you NEED to take a step back, take a step back.

And I DO think we all need to look at what we're talking about. What we're sharing, and make sure it still feels good to share.

I also think that, at least for me, the work that I do is positively impacting the world. More wealthy women that can donate to causes important to them. More women with flexible schedules that can march if they're called to. More women of influence that can use their platforms for good. So while I most definitely understand taking a break, for ME, I double down. I want more. I want to help more women become wealthy women of influence.?

I just felt called to share that. Because maybe YOU TOO impact the world this way, and by doubling down when there's a crisis, YOU TOO are making a positive change.?

xoxo

In other news, we released episode TWO HUNDRED of Good Girls Get Rich this week! Holy moly. I'm so honored to be able to bring this show to the world each week, and there are a few hundred more episodes on the way!?

Take care of yourself.

It’s so personal! And so many people are doing so many good things in the world and don’t give themselves credit for their contribution.

Karen, what a beautiful message. I do grapple with, "How do I just go on, business as usual?" vs. "How can I just stop and then what would I do?" I love that you've put brilliantly written words to the sadness in my heart. Thank you! Carrie
