You will not say LinkedIn is not working after this.

Dear Readers,

In this edition, we will talk about the major Problems Entrepreneurs are facing on LinkedIn to attract business opportunities and grow their presence on it. Your problems need the right assistance to get great results from Linkedin. Let's discover how you will never say LinkedIn is not working for you.

20 Problems that is holding you back on LinkedIn

1. It's tough figuring out what makes me different from everyone else on LinkedIn.

Dive into your niche's specific needs to discover your unique angle. Niche-focused profiles receive up to 50% more engagement.

Conduct a competitor analysis to identify whitespace opportunities and areas where competitors are lacking. Develop your personal brand around these gaps.

2. I’m always stressed about providing new posts that people actually want to read.

Focus on understanding what your audience finds valuable and engaging. Utilize LinkedIn's analytics to see which posts have performed best historically. Remember, consistency in quality often overlaps quantity, and well-researched thoughtfully prepared content resonates more effectively than frequent, less impactful posts.

The best and only way is to do experiment with different types of content and along with that you can follow a content strategy mentioned below:

3. Balancing LinkedIn and running my business is a real-time crunch.

Try to schedule content in advance instead of creating it daily to save up to 5 hours a week, allowing more focus on business operations.

Schedule a monthly content planning session. Consistent content schedules can increase follower growth by over 30%.

Delegate LinkedIn management tasks to a virtual assistant or team member, freeing up time for more strategic activities like networking or content creation.

4. Engaging with my audience is exhausting, and I’m feeling the burnout.

Set specific times for engagement to manage workload without sacrificing interaction, boosting post visibility by up to 200%.

Implement an engagement strategy that prioritizes responding to comments and messages during dedicated time blocks while using automation tools or VAs for other tasks.

5. Every time I get the hang of LinkedIn, they change the rules and I’m back to square one.

Follow Richard van der Blom to always stay updated with LinkedIn's new algorithm changes.

Stay updated with LinkedIn's official blog and evolve with the new changes.

6. Trying to make my profile and posts look good without being a designer is frustrating.

There are so many designers out there on LinkedIn specializing in LinkedIn Designs. Hire them as trust me "people do judge books by their covers". There is no way to save some penny and keep destroying your reputation.

(I have helped top creators like Nausheen I. Chen to optimise their LinkedIn profile, DM "profile if you want me to help you.)

7. I often struggle with how much personal information to share without appearing unprofessional.

Share personal stories that highlight lessons learned in business, avoiding overly personal details that don't relate to your professional goals. Share your wins, advice, learnings, challenges faced, etc. You don't have to tell "how many dogs you have" but "how your dog gives you a business Idea".

Alert: Personal Posts are the powerhouse of getting a lot of views as human connects with stories, so use them wisely.

8. It's difficult to write stuff that speaks to everyone without making some feel excluded.

Use LinkedIn analytics to tailor content to follower demographics, increasing content relevance and follower engagement by up to 25%.

Create segmented content by dividing your audience into smaller groups based on demographics, interests, or engagement levels, and tailor content specifically for each segment.

9. At times, I get anxious about whether people will like my posts.

Focus on the quality of engagements rather than quantity, a single thoughtful comment can be more valuable than ten likes.

In the beginning, no one starts getting tons of likes or comments in their 1st or 2nd month of creating content. It's a game of consistency and understanding the content strategy.

10. Handling haters and negative comments without causing a scene is tough.

Address negative feedback constructively and transparently to build trust, increasing average trust by 20%.

Develop a standardized response protocol for handling negative comments, focusing on empathy, professionalism, and a willingness to address concerns or misunderstandings.

NOTE: Always reply positively to any negative comment, trust me it's just a matter of time that you are getting affected by those few comments. Focus more on your Brand & Content Strategy by blocking those haters' accounts.

11. I don't know if my profile appears when people search for things I am good at.

Use SEO principles in your profile to enhance visibility, improving search visibility by over 70%.

Research and incorporate keywords into your about section, experience section and heading to increase your chances of appearing in relevant searches.

12. Constant networking is draining, and I just want to switch off sometimes.

Prioritize quality over quantity in networking to build meaningful connections, resulting in 50% more productive business relationships.

My hack is to hire a VA for networking and building an SOP that you can share with the VA so that you will get a 100% accurate outcome as like same as you are doing it.

13. Finding the sweet spot between being genuine and professional isn’t easy.

Share professional achievements alongside challenges and lessons learned, enhancing relatability and increasing follower trust by up to 30%.

If you are sharing anything genuine that has a negative ending then make sure you make it valuable by adding the learnings you learned from it and advice you want to give others in the post to make your audience trust you more.

Incorporate storytelling elements such as vulnerability, humour, or humility into your content to humanize your brand and connect with your audience on a deeper level.

NOTE: Keep genuine or personal posts related to your professional life.

14. Staying on top of the latest trends without losing my voice is challenging.

Engage in trending industry discussions while injecting personal insights to stay relevant, increasing your influence by 25%.

Like AI, you can talk about how AI is impacting your industry.

Create a content calendar that includes time for both trend-related posts and evergreen content that reflects your unique perspective and expertise.

15. It’s hard to keep up with replies and likes as more people follow me.

Automate standard responses and prioritize personalized interaction for significant comments or questions, increasing efficient engagement by up to 50%.

Use Text Blaze to create frequent replies like "thank you" "means a lot" "thanks for supporting" "glad you like it", etc.

16. I spend so much time on LinkedIn but can’t tell if it’s actually worth it.

Track engagement metrics and correlate them with business outcomes to see the benefits. Businesses often report a 20% increase in leads when actively engaging on LinkedIn.

If your LinkedIn is still not generating results then it's not LinkedIn's fault but your strategy is not working, try to consult some LinkedIn experts in your network to help you audit your current efforts to tell you the areas of improvement to get more results.

(Your man, Aryan Kumar is always there to help you with your audit and consultation. I have helped various people fall in love with LinkedIn.)

17. It bugs me when people steal my ideas and pass them off as their own.

Protect your content with clear branding and consider registering your most valuable pieces. Transparency in creation leads to a 10% decrease in plagiarism incidents.

Avoid creating non-branded content like "text only - text only content is easy to steal right away". You can start using content types like "Branded Carousels", "Branded Images", "Branded Videos", etc.

Using diverse branded content can reduce the chances of plagiarism by 30%.

Best Advice: Block those accounts that literally copy-paste your content, I have blocked more than 20 accounts for the same reason ;)

18. It feels impossible to stand out when everyone is trying the same tricks.

Use unique storytelling and personal experiences to differentiate your content, helping to cut through noise and increase engagement by up to 30%.

Experiment with unconventional content formats or topics that showcase your personality and expertise in a distinct and memorable way, such as interactive carousels, behind-the-scenes videos, or thought-provoking opinion pieces.

Tricks would be the same but stories are always unique (or if not unique then it will be relatable which is again a plus point).

19. Sticking to a long-term plan for my LinkedIn profile gets lost in daily chaos.

I also feel the same but check out this post about how I overcome that (LinkedIn is reallyyyy boring)

Develop a 6-12 month content roadmap aligned with business goals to maintain focus, shown to improve goal attainment by over 40%.

Block out dedicated time in your schedule for LinkedIn activities such as content creation, engagement, and profile optimization, treating them as non-negotiable appointments to ensure consistency and progress towards your long-term objectives.

20. We are mostly getting that traffic from our in-house sales efforts so we don't need LinkedIn.

I completely agree! In major businesses, an online presence is often an add-on rather than the primary source.

Have you considered any strategies to maintain your reputation on LinkedIn as a thought leader? Doing so could open up opportunities you may not even be aware of, establishing you as a more trustworthy and top-of-mind figure among your existing clients.

Nowadays it's not good to have but must have.
