As I brainstormed a new series of blogs for one of my clients, the topic of event participation came up in the conversation. Surprisingly, it was met with both a frown and acknowledgment from the business owner. While they acknowledged the importance of events, they admitted it wasn't their preferred approach and felt incapable of managing it alone. How much time could we allocate for engaging with potential prospects amidst the bustling event environment? Additionally, we strategized on the promotional materials best suited for the occasion.
The event itself proved to be vibrant, albeit noisy, owing to the combination of a cozy venue and an energetic jazz band providing the soundtrack. In hindsight, our meticulous planning ensured that despite the lively atmosphere, we maximized our engagement with attendees, leaving a lasting impression and achieving our goals. We evaluated the event the day after and exchanged leads to be followed up.
