1 个月The Job Displacement/Enhancement debate will rumble on for some time. There will certainly be be a mix of the 2, and all possibilities are on the table in my view. Some people see AI as allowing us to focus on more creative jobs. Others see it as kick-starting the creativity process. It can be both, but there is a risk we see higher-quality creative human writing (especially in the technical article sphere of influence, where rare technical talents shine) being drowned out by the increasing noise generated by the hubbub of AI-created articles. How we see the possibilities presented by AI are limited by our own vision, so as AI moves beyond task agents into full process flow assistants/managers, we will definitely have our eyes opened to the full impact of AI (whether that is increased wealth disparity or habitually taking shortcuts).
GenAI in tbe D&A, without an accurate & business applicable asset register (metadata- measures & metrics) that is correct & consistent across a companies enterprise, will only foster the ‘garbage in, garbage out’ scenario. Build an Analytics Governance practice with an automation platform which governs and controls this, and then GenAI can be used to leverage greater business value.
