Navigating a difficult time!

Before W.H.O officially declared the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as a global pandemic, most people thought it was just another health crisis. 

Its alarming levels of spread and severity took the entire world by surprise and so was its concomitant economic impacts. It turned out to be a double whammy and in some cases, a hydra-headed monster for most governments that have had to grapple with making the difficult decision of choosing between life and livelihood for their citizens.

For Nigeria, the pandemic is more than a twin-shock! It has negatively impacted the nation’s fiscal revenue as price of crude oil (mainstay of the country's economy) headed south, US$/NGN FX rate went up to an all-time high with galloping inflation amidst some other economic woes. 

In response to the above, ACCA Nigeria and Africa Advocate of the year, Victoria Ajayi and I worked with some members in Nigeria to record this video where we shared a few tips that can assist individuals navigate this difficult times.
