MY ADVICE:
Have fun with Strategic Foresight! While risk mitigation and worst-case scenarios are part of the process, this isn’t meant to be all doom and gloom. Just as much focus ought to be placed on growth potential, best-case scenarios, and exciting new opportunities. We get to remove thought boundaries, unleash creativity, and emphasize collaborative team building in strategic and productive ways. In the business world, with pressing deadlines and budget constraints, rarely do we get the chance to operate with a genuine sense of wonder, imagination, and curiosity. So, enjoy yourself throughout the process, and encourage your team members to do the same.
