The core of most of my activities revolves around making connections and enabling change through learning. Recently, I gained a profound understanding of the pivotal role neural networks can play, which truly opened my eyes.

Where did I learn about Change with Neural Networks

At the IRM UK Business Change and AI Transformation event, Dr Leandro Herrero , author of Viral Change, delivered a remarkable talk. He emphasized the importance of identifying key players who can drive change.

How do Neural Networks relate to known collaboration theories?

Having (in my modest opinion) extensive knowledge about Learning Communities , Champion Pyramids , and Centers of Expertise. I recognized the high value of professionals who act as ambassadors or bridge builders in any initiative. Seeing these concepts visually presented in a neural networks map provided extremely valuable insights into what the right person in the right place can enable.

As Dr Leandro Herrero elaborates, change happens when people talk to people (Peer-to-peer). Therefore, involving the right people is crucial for managing change effectively. It also highlights the significant impact when such key individuals can no longer facilitate or function.

When are Neural Networks Maps applicable?

Whether it's getting an organization data-guided or helping a neighborhood advance in the energy transformation, understanding the various roles—whether hierarchical high, middle, or low—is vital in making a transformation successful.
