"Navigating the Challenges of Leadership: How the Holy Spirit Guides and Empowers Us in Our Career"

How could I have survived up to this point if not for God? At 29, I was President of a manufacturing company with 200 employees. Prior to that, I was expected to lead the managers in the family business of up to 1000 employees. Being a entrepreneur and a leader, is hard. I would even say I am not a natural born leader and I had to learn and earn my way all throughout the journey I just embarked. One of the most frightening things in being a leader is DECISION MAKING. A leader's decisions can make or break a company. A wrong decision could have severe implications both legally and morally. One thing has kept me going back to true North throughout this journey and it is the work of the Holy Spirit manifesting in my intuition - my mind, my heart and my spirit together.

The work of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives including our careers or professional life can manifest in various ways, such as guidance in decision making, intuitive understanding of people and complexities of problems, and being made capable of things that you had no training or experience.?

Colossians 1:9-11 states "...[partial] We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light."

As we grow in the knowledge of God's will, we also grow in wisdom and understanding not just for matters spiritual, but also in our daily lives, including our careers. The Holy Spirit guides us to make decisions that align with God's will, helps us understand and navigate the complexities of the world, and empowers us to do things that we may not have thought possible.?

I encourage you to always pray for this wisdom and understanding, and to be expectant and grateful for the guidance and empowerment that the Spirit provides.

More of that next time. May the Lord guide you in your decision making today!
