At Navarik, our summer excitement went beyond the Olympics ?? In this edition, we'll be highlighting results from our LinkedIn polls, the latest Navarik Inspection features on our roadmap, a recap on our socials (just in case you missed it), and what's coming up next as 2024 draws to a close.

Before we proceed with our updates...

As we look back on this quarter, I’m proud of the significant strides we’ve made in advancing the impact of Navarik Inspection across the industry. Everyone's hard work and dedication has enabled us to deliver exceptional value to our clients. • A whopping 100% of our respondents believe that accuracy from data entry is the biggest challenge when managing cargo nominations

  • 50% of our respondents believe that lack of standardization is the most pressing issue in the oil and gas industry, followed by 25% who feel departmental fragmentation and knowledge gaps are the biggest challenge
  • Out of our loss control followers, 75% feel it is moderately challenging to acquire a complete audit trail

?What's New in Our Product Roadmap

Our latest addition to the Navarik toolbox is our Catalog Mapper!

In a world where ambiguity can cramp your style, Navarik Catalog Mapper acts as a universal translator between catalogs, connecting terms that share the same meaning (like Celsius and Centigrade) but are labeled differently due to internal business practices. It's a grand step towards our vision of an integrated industry built on confidence, and sound data.

Get ready for our upcoming Navarik Inspection Client Advisory Group Meeting scheduled for October 23rd in Houston, TX! Chaired by our Chief Product Officer, Annette M. Kroll , this exclusive event will bring together our community of specialists to discuss the latest updates in our product roadmap, industry challenges, and innovations. We'll also be having our Principal Designer, Saeed Hamid and Customer Support Manager, Carmen James joining the roster for a day of lively discussions!

In this collaborative environment, we look forward to exchanging ideas, incorporating client feedback, and integrating your suggestions to ensure Navarik’s?product roadmap consistently aligns with industry needs.

To improve our infrastructure, we're making steady progress towards the ISO 27001 certification. Our journey highlights our commitment to strong information security practices, recognizing the critical importance of protecting your data in an increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape.

Navarik Inspection is getting a makeover! As part of our product roadmap this year, we're focusing on modernizing the user interface to provide a refined navigational experience in our system and improving infrastructure that will simplify future customization requests.

As of Sept 7, we kicked off User Interface Updates for our Catalogs, featuring responsive design, fewer clicks, and greater customizability for our users when interacting with the following:

  • Methods of Transport
  • Grades
  • Units of Measure
  • Event Types
  • Retest Reasons
  • Snippets
  • Expense Types

Future User Interface Updates will be communicated via System Notices within Navarik Inspection.

?? Staying Connected

This year, we had the privilege of welcoming AmSpec Group 's Keith Beaulieu and Jessica Cardenas Gonzalez to our office for an Inspector Overview session, followed by our Annual Summer Mingle in the sunshine.

The session was highly informative, offering valuable, first-person insights and experiences on the Inspector's side of business during an inspection nomination workflow. Collaborative sessions like these are essential for deep-diving into the realities of our users, ensuring open communication and alignment with our clients' needs.

Thank you for joining us, Keith & Jessica - it was a pleasure having you!
