The Nautical Structures NS Series Turns 10
This year the most versatile davit and crane system in the Nautical Structures line up celebrates its 10th Birthday. Designed and launched for the 2011 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and production officially started in 2012, the NS Series davits and cranes boast a multitude of features making it a best-in-class option for many vessels. The NS Series has been utilized on work boats in Alaska, top-tier sportfish battlewagons, and for MCA/SOLAS rated superyachts ranging from 34m/112’ up to 77m/252’ in length.
The NS Series features a 2-to-1 capacity to weight ratio, multiple flag-state/classed options (including SOLAS), mounting options and lengths to fit any vessel, and capacities ranging from 770kg/1,700lbs to 2,000kg/4,400lbs.
We’re incredibly proud of the versatility and range the NS series brings to these wide arrays of vessels, as well as its power to efficiently conduct tender-handling duties up to MOB/Lifesaving applications. We can’t wait to see what future projects are in store for it in the next 10 years.
If you’re interested in seeing how the venerable NS Series davits and cranes can integrate with your next project don’t hesitate to reach out to Nautical Structures.

2 年Truly is a well engineered crane, qualifies as among the best of the best no doubt. It’s styling is pretty cool as well. Probably one of the best elements of its design is its strength to weight ratio. It’s got a 2 to 1 ratio which is better than almost any other similar product on the market today. Super important for boats were weight control is a consideration.
