Nature's Worth

The earth and sky, the trees and leaves,

The creatures, great and small,

They fill my heart with a sense of peace

And make my spirit tall.

Humans may build, and humans may reign,

But all that they create,

Will one day crumble and turn to dust,

While nature remains unchanged.

The plants and animals, they hold a value,

That cannot be measured in gold,

For in their existence, they remind us

Of a beauty that's pure and old.

So let the humans have their cities,

And their machines that hum,

For I will find my solace,

In the wild, where I belong
