Gentle shade offered by trees 

In form they appear to be reaching out 

The desire to touch and connect 

Lovely and yet imperfect 

A fish jumps to catch a glimpse of the view above the water line

As he dives back down below

A million ripples put on a show

Perfect circles dispersing like a kaleidoscope 

Mesmerising to view

Just like the sound the shapes fade away

A picture of perfection to stand and be admired

The sweet slumber of the canal barges

As they cuddle the grassy banks

A place to anchor your heart and stay
