Nature is our best TEACHER

All of us are who we are because we learned from teachers who influenced us one way or the other... we have had amazing teachers. The one common teacher we all had by default is NATURE.
Rumi's quote, "Everything in the Universe is within you. Ask all for yourself " is such a perfect fit because if we observe Nature carefully we get our lessons! The pandemic has been our biggest example.
She has been an amazing influence on my life over the years & taught me to value every moment I have. The immense joy she has given me just by watching her has been her generosity.
Our imperfections Nature beautifully integrates, or the reiterations she makes to prove she loves all of us equally... the warnings before heavy rains or the bounty of rains when it is very hot. She has always been kind to us & given us a long enough rope to learn our lessons.
With the pandemic, she definitely showed how distances really added no challenges. Virtual meetings/Hybrid modes of work & meetings became the norm. Working with Nature has been the easiest way one could connect to the self. Young changemakers from India have embraced social entrepreneurship very easily, proving to be a force to reckon with.
There have been many ways our lives have been shaped by being connected to Nature & she gives us moments to celebrate our evil. If we make Nature our TEACHER, what are some of the amazing qualities she has as a teacher?
Transform: Nature has always been such an inspiration to teach us to modify ourselves as per need. Adapting ourselves to the surrounding is how we learn to survive.
“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect.?Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful.”
Empathise: Animals are perfect embodiments of what we call empathy. Whether it's a pet at home or in the wild their eyes speak volumes.
Authentic: The truth in Nature is amazing to see. She is on to anything that needs to be let go. When a flower or fruit is ready to be plucked, the plant let goes. The tree never hoards its fruit, when it is ready to be eaten. Everything happens at the right time. So be patient.
Caring: Nature has a way of making sure that we get what we need. She gives it to us with all taken care of.
Harness: Nature has a way of giving us a long rope & then taking it back if we do not act responsibly. Give the leeway but also keep a tab.

Energise: A bloomed flower, the chirping of a bird, the sunrise & the sunset, Nature has a way of working around giving man reasons to be happy. Look for reasons to enjoy & love life.
Respect: Nature shows us how to live in harmony immaterial of the space a person occupies. Living in complete harmony is a choice we all have.
Below is a poem I wrote as a tribute to Nature - our TEACHER.
Transforming my doubts into confidence galore,
Empathizing with my failures & giving me a reason to ask for more.
Authentic in her feedback & in bringing herself to teach,
Caring for me & herself in the process of her outreach.
Harnessing all emotions both positive & negative,
Energizing the motivation to make it all integrative.
Respecting the space where we both can be collaborative; completely in sync.
