Nature Mirrors Life.

Nature Mirrors Life.

I’m in awe of nature. I’ve lived through a tornado, many earthquakes, a monsoon, a cyclone, blizzards, and unreal gorgeous days. I find the force of nature absolutely exhilarating.

This ever-changing world of ours is a mirror for us all.

Every time I’m floating alone on my stand-up paddleboard, miles offshore on the Pacific Ocean, I know the risk of what is happening under me.?

Every time I’m in the mountains, I know the earth could shift.?

This is life.?

We shake. We explode. We shift internally. We transform and we let loose. We can’t always anticipate when any of this will happen.?

What we know, and what can be hard to accept, is that change is inevitable. We encounter difficulties and traumas. We celebrate and feel happiness.

Living, as I see it, is a form of personal art.

No two humans see or process anything alike. We all walk through our pain, as well as our celebrations, differently. We experience life in our own personal way.

Regarding any sort of mental, emotional, or physical health, it’s important to remember that we are not alone. We are never alone. It’s equally important that we don’t stuff our thoughts, emotions, pain, or our truths down.?

We either take care of what is eating us from the inside, or what’s eating us from the inside will manifest in unhealthy ways, in the form of addiction, disease, unhealthy relationships, and regretful lives.

Just remember that like an exploding volcano, everything comes to the surface, in one form or another, eventually.?

Nature “does its thing” and cleanses in the way intended. She releases her energy and clears what is needed in order to become her new natural state of beauty.?

Fires are necessary for new growth and to feed the earth. Tectonic plates shift, releasing energy to change the land. Tornadoes and monsoons shift the energy in the air and skies. We need to shift energy to balance our natural state of being.

What would happen if we looked at our own painful and difficult experiences as a way to feed our own personal growth? To create our new phase of life? As a path to creation instead of devastation?

We all—every one of us—will walk through darkness. During these times, it’s important that we always, always remember that beyond the darkness, there is light just waiting for us.?

During our challenging times, you either:

  • Lose yourself, or,
  • Find what you are capable of.

When faced with challenging times, it’s imperative that you create moments for you, where you feel alive in the present. Where your human senses open to the beauty around you. How to do that? Here are 5-tips that I use every day to feel alive. I started using these nearly ten years ago. And, by the way, they work.

  1. Try something you’ve never done before. Maybe it’s a new food. Take a walk on a different route. Stop and smell a flower. Commit to trying one new thing today. Notice the mind shift after you do it. More importantly, notice how it made you feel alive.
  2. Stop making excuses for all of the reasons not to.. Find all of the reasons to do it. There are more reasons to do something than there is to not. We need to find them.
  3. Let go of the jerks in your life. This is important! A healthy community is key, so only be with those who want to be with you. Someone disrespects you? Goodbye.
  4. Ask yourself, “Does this make me happy?” If not, either don’t do it, or shift your mindset to find gratitude in what you are doing in order for it to create happiness in your life. Exercise isn’t always fun, for example. But the mind-shift is this: you get to exercise. Practicing gratitude is imperative.?
  5. Other people’s drama will suck the life out of you. Read that again. Create boundaries and stay in your lane. You will never get more time, so use what time you do have wisely. Every moment matters.?

Just remember, if you aren’t liking your life today, you either start the shift and see little moments of progress along the way, or you will continue to not like your life tomorrow, too.?

You create your life. No one can do that for you.?

If you are ready to try something you have never done before, join us June 4th-8th in the Grand Canyon for our VERY LAST CO-ED RETREAT. Adventure, meditation, coaching, energy work, and nature healing. There is absolutely nothing like it.?

Mother Nature has so much to teach us, if we open ourselves to pay attention to her and learn. Every day nature shifts and rearranges itself. We have those same opportunities, but we seldom recognize them, and act on them. Beautiful and on pointe, Sara Schulting Kranz, as usual!!! ??????????????
