The Nature Of God That Changed My Mindset

The Nature Of God

"Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?" - Hebrews 12:9

This verse from the Book of Hebrews is a thought-provoking and instructive passage that delves into the concept of discipline and submission to God. The author of the Book of Hebrews addresses the early Christian community and encourages them to consider the discipline and correction they received from their earthly fathers. The comparison is made between the discipline of earthly fathers and the discipline of the heavenly Father, and how the latter should be regarded with much greater reverence and submission.

The verse begins by acknowledging the role of earthly fathers in the upbringing and correction of their children. The phrase "fathers of our flesh" refers to our biological fathers or the father figures in our lives who have disciplined and guided us. The author implies that these earthly fathers were deserving of respect and reverence for their actions of discipline and correction. This sets the stage for the comparison with the Father of spirits, who is God.

The term “God” isn’t one’s name but one’s nature, however the word ‘God’ stands for Generator-Operator-Destroyer. Psalms 82:5 “They go on in darkness not knowing, did I not tell you that ye are Gods?”

G - represents the Generator (The Mind)

O - represents the Operator (The Body)

D - represents the Destroyer (The Spirit/Soul)

These trio (mind, body & spirit) are the operating system of your earthly jurisdiction. Whence the Bible says that “The kingdom of God is within you” - Luke 17:21. Furthermore Romans 14:17 says “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”.

The nature of a God is someone who’ve mastered the art of self discipline and control on all levels of existence, metaphorically, spiritually and physically. The brain is the generator of power whereas the soul is the operator that navigates you along your earthly path and the cosmic fire which is also known as the kundalini represents the life force that dwells within each and every one of us. Jesus addressed the lack of understanding regarding the statement “Ye are Gods” by saying that the “Kingdom of God is within you” which means that we’re all but a fragment of the creator and this creative life force dwells within each of us thereof. So who is God and how can he be found?

John 4:24 “God is spirit and those who worship him must worship him in truth and in spirit”. The spirit of God can be sought after however when we decide to know his ways, we must first come to him wholeheartedly in humble submission. Prayer and word meditation (bible) are one of the profound ways to begin this process. There’s no greater way of aligning ourselves to God other than the truth of the written scriptures. The Bible contains the secrets of truth “as it was written” and when we meditate on his word more so often, we draw ourselves closer to him. James 4:8 reads “Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me; ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you”.

There are 3 ways you can approach God;

The first is way is as a Father.

The second way is as a Judge.

The third way is as a Lawyer.

When we go God as a father, he responds based on fatherhood approach. We ought to see God first as our father that is why Jesus Christ taught us a very powerful way to pray. The Lord’s Prayer goes like this, “Our father who’s in heaven hallowed be thy name your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Now Jesus proceeded further by placing a demand request from the father by saying “give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses” I believe that this module of prayer is solely based on a fatherhood approach. We are all God’s children and just like we make a request from our earthly father, in the same way our Heavenly Father would do more for us only if we come to him with the right consciousness that he’s a fatherly figure to us.

In the same way, God who’s also our father can also be our judge too. Psalms 7:11 says that “God judges the righteous and he’s angry with the wicked everyday”. This means that God remains the judge regardless of whether you believe it or not. He judges the earth everyday and being a believer means that you ca use this at your advantage to withstand the wiles of the enemy. The Bible depicts God to be a righteous judge meaning that he won’t support you in doin evil against your brethren. If we remain steadfast in righteousness, we will always have the right judgement from God. Whence people may try to belittle or cause you harm and pain, God’s love and compassion remains a covering banner towards us. The Bible says in psalms 23: “The lord is my Shepard and I shall not want”. A Shepard is someone who’s a leader, or someone who represents a leadership figure in our lives. Someone who leads you will definitely defend you whenever you get into trouble or in need of help. He will stand against those who tends to oppress or accuse you wrongly.

Lastly, God being a lawyer portrays someone who functions actively in a judicial system. However this means that even though God is a judge in the courtroom of heaven he also stands as a defendant through the image of his son Jesus Christ. Psalms 17:2 reads “Let my vindication come forth from your presence and let your eyes behold the things that are right”. I believe we all know how a lawyer operates, especially when it comes to a court case that we may have. A lawyer’s job is to vindicate and defend the rights of his client. In that same way, Jesus stands to be out very own lawyer whom by his blood defends us against the accuser or the accusations of the enemy. Let’s look at a very beautiful event that transpired in the Bible concerning the life of Job. I believe this will give you a clear hint of the judicial system of heaven. Job was a faithful & upright man in the sight of God, however God’s favor was upon him. Whence the tragedy that befell Job was as a plot twist that was given directly from the courts of heaven. The Bible says that Satan was in heaven in the presence of God bringing with him various accusatory reasons why Job was faithful to God. Job 1:9-10 satan was saying to God “Does your servant Job fear you for nothing? verse 10 reads “Have you not made a hedge around him and his household, therefore blessing and increasing him on every side”.

Now see where it gets interesting, in verse 11 Satan was saying to God “Put forth your hand upon Job and touch all that he has and he will curse you to your face”. This biblical passage tells us that even with the right things that are from God, satan can still file up accusations against us”. When the adversary (Satan) tends to file up evidences against us, He does this with a substance of proof, meaning he can travel as far as 700+ generations before you or through bloodlines just to look for evidences within your family and bloodline that’ll make the courts of heaven grant him permits to legalize his influence and power in your life. But this doesn’t mean we cannot break off of it, only with the right information and step to step guide on it.

Brethren, remain steadfast in your pursuit for righteousness, put your faith in God and trust his dependability to carry you through. Our God is not a scam or a fraud, he’s overly faithful and I can tell you this for free.
