Nature Connect Continues as Small Grant Facility for Table Mountain Fund
Nature Connect is excited to continue its role as a small grant facility for the Table Mountain Fund, supporting impactful community-driven conservation projects across Cape Town.
In September 2024, we launched an application call for the 2025 Small Grant cycle, seeking projects that combine community participation with conservation efforts. After receiving numerous inspiring proposals, we selected five deserving recipients who are ready to make a significant impact on the Cape Floristic Region’s biodiversity and local communities.
Induction Day – 10 December 2024
On 10 December, we hosted an induction event at Zandvlei Lookout, where the 2025 Small Grant recipients gathered for a day of networking, sharing ideas, and learning about the key tools needed to manage their projects. From tracking project impact to managing budgets, the day was filled with practical advice and mutual support.
As Dinoy Lalieu of Ocean Pledge shared:
“So lovely to meet others on the long arduous road of running an NPO – it feels supportive.”
