A Natural Weakness Every Servant Leader Must Be Wary Of

Too many servant leaders forget that nature, the universe, life itself is a dance of balancing forces. Both science and religion tell us that the forces of the universe work in equal and opposite directions.
The Law of Thermodynamics for example, tells us that for every directional force applied, there is an equal force in the opposite direction naturally applied back.
Eastern religion/philosophy teaches us the concept of Yin and Yang. The word up would have no meaning if there wasn't a condition and word for it that described the opposite - down. Hot would have no meaning without cold. In, out. Give, get.
Servant leaders (me included) are so focused on serving others, helping others, we forget that we need the help and service of others too. Much more importantly, servant leaders need to realize that too many of us are not truly serving if we aren't teaching those we serve how to receive.
I have seen this weakness in myself and yes, too many other servant leaders like me. We are not exercising the natural forces of the universe in BOTH directions well enough.

Let's be honest here, by seeking ONLY to serve we are not living and acting in balance. We therefore must receive and have an obligation to those we serve to teach this ever so delicately, in a yes...I will say it... in a balanced way.
So, since I am one of those servant leaders that clearly needs to practice improving in this manner, I am going to share with you the help that I need, or really a dream I have that I need some help with.
All of my clients right at this moment are local... in the Phoenix Arizona area. My dream is to be not just more national but International.
