Portugueses gas heating
The month of September reserved good news for gas consumption in Portugal. There was a 13.3% growth in consumption when compared to the same month of the previous year. The thermoelectric power plants, large consumers of gas, presented in October a consumption of 136.5 GW in one day, surpassing the record of 134.5 Gwh in 2017 (Source, REN). Imports, coming from the Spanish border or by sea (LNG), also increased. Between June and August there was an increase in gas imports, showing a small recovery in an extremely negative year.
