NATO Secretary General welcomes Türkiye’s decision to forward Sweden accession protocols to parliament

Speaking in Vilnius on 10 July 2023, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s agreement to forward the accession protocol for Sweden to the Grand National Assembly as soon as possible, and work closely with the Assembly to ensure ratification.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania strengthen airspace cooperation

In the margins of the Vilnius Summit, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania signed a Declaration of Cooperation on cross-border airspace. The relevant Allied civil and military authorities will establish and use suitable airspace volumes for NATO training and exercises, and other air activities within the Baltic region.

NATO steps up work on climate change and security

On 11 July 2023, NATO released three major reports contributing to Allies’ increased understanding of the impact of climate change on NATO’s strategic environment, missions and operations, and the adaptation of their armed forces required to maintain operational effectiveness.

Twenty-three NATO Allies have selected the investment team to run the Alliance’s new 1 billion euro deep technology venture fund.

Pre-Summit polling results show strong support for NATO and for continued assistance to Ukraine

Ahead of the 2023 NATO Summit in Vilnius, NATO commissioned a survey across all 31 Allied nations. The survey measures public opinion in Allied nations, including support for NATO membership, collective defence and defence spending. Overall, support for NATO remains strong, as does support for continuing to assist Ukraine.

NATO is not an obsolete structure from the cold war. It is a structure more valuable than ever for world peace.

Many of these leaders were willing to help Kuwait,Afghan and other countries But are only willing too give Ukrainians weapons? Loosen up on your ties and get some air to your brain And stop the madness in Ukrainian like you did in Bosnia ??
