This year, September 27 is an ample opportunity to stop and reflect on the existence and traditions of Native Americans – those who have been on this land prior to the United States' existence. Of course, a day, a week, a month, or YEARS could not repay all that Native Americans have lost at the hands of colonizers, yet for those of us who are non-Indigenous, it's a day of responsibility to learn, unlearn, reflect, and act.
