Their mission is to establish a centralised system for Zakat collection and distribution, making it easier for Muslims to fulfil their religious obligations. NZF meticulously verifies recipients’ eligibility and ensures proper use of the funds to support the impoverished, needy, orphans, and those burdened by debt.

The result was a comprehensive digital platform that facilitates Zakat administration and provides clear reporting for donors. The platform’s intuitive design has significantly improved NZF’s ability to manage donations and distribute funds efficiently.

In 2023, NZF made a significant impact, including:

• ￡6.1 million distributed to support 2,315 Muslims in financial hardship.
• 601,362 disbursed in a single month.
• ￡3.6 million in donations facilitated through the new digital donation form launched in January 2023.
• During Ramadan, NZF received a request for assistance every three minutes, highlighting the platform’s ability to handle high demand.

The digital solution has become an integral part of their operations, enabling them to manage increased Zakat contributions and provide timely support to beneficiaries.
