National Working Parents Day

Parenting can feel like one big juggling act. Parents often feel the stress and pressures that come along with raising a child and maintaining a career. Both parents work in more than 62% of families in the US, and recent studies have shown that over half of those parents feel unsupported in the workplace.?

September 16th marks Working Parents Day, recognizing and celebrating the immense effort that goes into having kids while working full-time. IAC Group is hoping to change the narrative around working parents by showing them unconditional support from the beginning.?

Finance Manager Tyler Crum and Global Marketing Manager Janet Phan are parents to their 4-year-old daughter. Their experiences at IAC gave them confidence in being successful parents and members of the team.“I find the flexibility at IAC to be a huge benefit as a working parent,” Crum said. “To be able to have the option to be there when my daughter needs me is amazing.”?

Phan felt from her very first interview that IAC was not only accommodating but also understanding of her role as a working mom. “From the interview when I told them I was a mom, they supported me,” Phan said. “They told me that they care about being a parent and want me to be able to do both successfully and stress-free.”?

“I was dumbfounded how flexible everyone at IAC was across the organization,” Phan said. “I felt truly seen by staff at all levels. Everyone understands what it means to balance your role as a mom with the demands of your career.”?
