National Student Volunteer Week 2024
To celebrate National Student Volunteer Week 2024, we are sharing some interviews with some of our amazing students making a difference to their peers and the wider community through volunteering.
#GenerationImpact is the theme for NSVW2024 and we truly believe our student volunteers embody this idea wholeheartedly.
Here are three student volunteers, Anmol, Kang, and Joyanne, from our Study NSW International Student Volunteering Program. Collectively they have volunteered a tremendous 170 hours across 58 shifts.?
These students explained to us what they enjoyed most about studying in Sydney, the benefits they have experienced from volunteering and how they’ve been able to make a difference in welcoming fellow students.
If your role involves student support, employability or wellbeing at your university, we’d love to see how we can leverage volunteering to enrich student outcomes.
