National STEM Day

Wednesday, Nov. 8 is?officially recognized as National STEM Day, an annual celebration dedicated to promoting STEM?education and careers among young people. ?

However, with our VISION2030 priorities, almost every day at NYPA is a STEM Day celebration!

From Environmental Justice and our Visitors Centers, to the ECO Team Employee Resource Group and work at NYPA sites, there are many individuals, teams and initiatives providing or contributing to supplemental, energy-related and age-appropriate STEM programs for students in Grades K-12 and college.

Our programs promote curiosity, increase students’ confidence and help to enhance educational equity by improving STEM competency outside a traditional classroom setting.
