- The central government to drive the value of the kilogram must prepare a national prototype and cause its accuracy to be certified by the International Bureau of weights and measures, and the same is equivalent to the international prototype of the kilogram. The national physical laboratory situated in New Delhi has custody of an international prototype of the kilogram.?
