The National Standard "General Specification for Geared Permanent Magnet Stepping Motor" Drafted by Jiangsu Leili Will Be Officially Implemented

A few days ago, the national standard of the People's Republic of China "General Specification for Geared Permanent Magnet Stepping Motor" GB/T 40131-2021 (hereinafter referred to as the standard) has been issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration, and will be released in December 2021. Officially implemented on the 1st.

Standardization Technical Committee for Micromotors and Components for the Information Industry (SAC/TC 528), the 21st Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and Jiangsu Leili Motor Co. , Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as Jiangsu Leili) , Jiangsu Huayang Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Hefei Rishang Electric Co., Ltd., Xiamen Dazhen Motor Co., Ltd., Guangdong Huilip Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Ningbo Zhongdide Intelligent Transmission Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Precision Motor Factory participated Standard drafting work.

As one of the main drafting units of the standard, since 2013 , led by a leading company in the field of decelerated permanent magnet stepping motors, Jiangsu Leili participated in more than ten intensive discussions, and finally completed the GB/T 40131-2021 standard. It was formulated and officially approved for release on May 21, 2021 .

The geared permanent magnet stepping motor is one of the many sub-categories of micro-motors, and it is widely used in household appliances, industrial equipment, security monitoring and other fields. GB/T 40131-2021 is a recommended national standard, which clarifies the type and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and various requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of decelerated permanent magnet stepping motors. This set of standards is applicable to decelerated permanent magnet stepping motors for air conditioners, industrial processing equipment, instruments, and smart home appliances, and will play an important role in improving the overall manufacturing level of this product field.

At the same time, the standard is closely related to the factory quality of the stepper motor in the determination of the main performance indicators. The standard has clear requirements for product life. Under the load of the rated voltage, frequency of 100Hz (pulse/second) and 45% of the specified pull-in torque, the output shaft of the stepper motor rotates 90° back and forth for 5000h; the standard has a great effect on the friction durability of the product. It is a clear requirement that the stepper motor two-phase plus rated voltage locks the rotor, the output shaft rotates 180° at a speed of 3r/min~10r/min, after stopping for 2s~3s, reverses 180° as a cycle, a total of 1000 times cycle. This is also a relatively special place in this product standard. Many low-end products on the market before did not meet the standard requirements. After the implementation of the standard, Jiangsu Leili hopes to raise the entry threshold of the industry, and steadily improve the product quality of stepper motors with unified testing standards, testing methods and factory standards, and finally improve the production level of domestic stepper motors in China, reaching and catching up beyond international standards.
