National Small Business Week recently concluded with many of the final events being held in Utah. Utah has a vibrant small business community and it was a pleasure to welcome Chris Pilkerton (acting SBA administrator) and Dan Nordberg(Region VIII Administrator) to our great state.

In addition to meeting many of Utah's best small businesses, political leaders and lenders, I had the opportunity to speak on behalf of Visa and focused my comments on three main points.

1)    Visa’s partnership with the SBA and our joint hackathon produced 27 solutions to help small businesses prepare for or recover from a natural disaster. Check out some of the winning ideas.

2)     At Visa, we love small businesses and proudly support over 400,000 companies on our small business platform Authorize.Net.

3)     Digital transformation of SMB’s – helping small businesses capture revenue, stay top of mind for customers and reduce time and expenses.

Congrats to all of the award winners like the Utah Small Business of the Year – B?hme.
