National Physician's Week One Wish Challenge

This past week physician's across the United States had the opportunity to celebrate the firs ever National Physician's Week which was sponsored by Physician's Working Together and Medelita. It was a novel experience and a rare and authentic time to acknowledge all that brought us to this noble field and candidly reflect on those things that may be pushing us to leave this same noble field. At the end of the week thought it was clear that even with all the challenges we still care deeply for our patients, for our colleagues and for this broken system and we endeavor to continue to make it better. One of the challenges I was able to participate in was the One Wish Challenge sponsored by Dr. Tisha Ro of Click It Clinic. This challenge allowed me to reflect upon the one thing in medicine I wish I could change today. Can you guess my wish? I hope that it comes true and I look forward to opportunities to link with others to ensure that it becomes a reality!
