National Nurses Week
From Florence Nightingale's lifesaving efforts during Britain’s Crimean War of 1854 to Mary Eliza Mahoney, the first professionally trained and licensed black nurse, and Dr. Amelia Ramirez, nationally renowned for raising awareness for COVID-19 prevention and vaccination, nurses have played a central role in enhancing the health and wellbeing of communities worldwide.?
Any healthcare provider can attest to the heroic work done by nurses. Within Central Health, nurses engaged in navigation, specialty care, wound care, respite, transitions of care, emergency care, inpatient care, education, leadership, and strategic development are integral to our success. Nurses clean up messes and carry immense responsibility on which lives depend, yet they are seldom celebrated. ?
On behalf of my colleagues at Central Health, I send a heartfelt thank you to nurses for their dedication and work to better our patients?and communities.??
We so appreciate all you do, ?
