National NILO lead talks about the riots, Martyn’s Law and the continued challenge of secure comms

Last week’s interview with David Boyle about JESIP was super popular and showed how much interest there is in multi-agency working and learning from incidents. This theme continues as I share my conversation with AC Patrick Goulbourne from London Fire Brigade .

He is the national lead for NILOs- inter-agency liaison officers at the sharp end of responding to high threat incidents. He too talks about JESIP but also homes in on communications, training and learning. It’s a fascinating insight into a world which many of us will never experience. Find out more below.
