National League Promotion [CONFIRMED]
2 years ago I left premier league hockey as a player to start as player/coach of London Wayfarers in the South Regional Division. The mission was simple;
"National League status within 2 years."
It was confirmed last week that London Wayfarers Mens 1st XI will be promoted into the National League. London Wayfarers Hockey Club is the biggest Hockey Club in the UK and boosts over 18 Mens and Ladies competitive squads and over 1000 junior members with countless amazing volunteers and helpers.
Fair to say we have focussed a lot of training sessions on goal scoring... Its just more fun.
Its been a dream coaching this group, who are all fantastic characters and all have day jobs on the side including myself. This hasn't deterred us at all from what we are trying to achieve as a group.
