Are you currently attending college? Where and what are you majoring in?

I am currently attending BSC and I am majoring in Cybersecurity.

What motivated you to apply for an internship at NDIT, and what were your expectations coming into the program?

I was motivated to apply for an internship at NDIT because I wanted to gain some experience in Cybersecurity.

Can you share a specific project or task you worked on during your internship that you found particularly challenging or rewarding? What did you learn from that experience?

I am currently working on my first risk assessment for GRC and so far it has been a great experience learning how to identify risk in certain products.

What kind of support and guidance did you receive from your team and mentors during your internship?

I received a lot of support from Tony Auckland and Josh Kadrmas as well the rest of the GRC team guiding and helping me work through task and projects.

What are some skills or knowledge areas that you have developed or improved upon during your internship?

Some skills I have improved upon would be my communication skills as well as my writing skills.

How do you feel your internship at NDIT aligns with your career goals and aspirations?

I think my internship aligns perfectly with my future career goals and that I really like cybersecurity.

Based on your experience, what advice would you give to future interns joining NDIT?

Work hard and learn as much as possible.

NDIT has also been fortunate to hire some former interns as full-time employees!
